Local businesses, the Chamber of Commerce, and even Uncle Sam turned up at the HomeStreet

Local businesses, the Chamber of Commerce, and even Uncle Sam turned up at the HomeStreet Bank in El Cajon, CA for a ribbon cutting grand opening on June 8, 2018.

The bank was packed with food, beverages, handy giveaways (but no money samples), and a gathering of local folks welcoming the bank to the community. Bank representatives from their Washington state headquarters were in attendance along with the new staff and Claribel Villa, manager of the local branch. Many of the East County Mayor’s and politicians presented awards and welcomed the bank. Eric Lund of the East County Chamber of Commerce welcomed the new business and everyone, including Uncle Sam, gathered for the ribbon cutting

A donation of $ 5,000 to go toward the Building Fund was presented to Harold Brown, CEO of East County Transitional Living Center by Ms. Villa and bank representatives.

HomeStreet has been in the banking business for nearly 100 years and has recently opened several banks in the San Diego area. HomeStreet Bank is a community bank offering personal banking, home loans, and business banking & loans with a focus on creating long term relationships.

ECTLC welcomes HomeStreet Bank and Claribel Villa to El Cajon and we look forward to partnering in future events.
