On the evening of Thursday, June 7th, all of the children at ECTLC gathered in the playground to welcome our special visitors. The children sat on the floor excitedly watching the entrance to the playground as Claudia escorted Queen Elsa and Princess Anna of Arendelle into the area.
The little faces lit up with excitement as our special guests made their debut. Elsa and Anna bent down and welcomed each child into their arms as the sweet little ones admired their sparkly dresses and frosty hair. The children asked all sorts of questions like; "Where is Olaf?" and, "Where is Kristoff"?, to which the Queen replied, "Well, I had to leave someone in charge of the kingdom, so Hans doesn't take over".
Elsa asked the children if they had seen the movie "Frozen" and if they knew her song "Let it Go". The kids jumped up and down with excitement and yelled in jubilee "YES!!" then, they all joined together in singing her song, she wowed all the parents with her beautiful voice.
Anna and Elsa spent so much time handing out warm hugs that they almost forgot the candy and puzzles they brought, we all ate candy, crackers, and juice and had an amazing time with the royal family. After all the festivities, they left with a royal wave and sweet goodbyes, to quickly catch their flight home. This was certainly an evening to remember!
We especially want to thank Queen Elsa, (Amy Kavelaras) and Princess Anna, ( Molly Stokas), for their huge hearts and for the precious time they spent with the kids.
